The Human Life Protection Society (HLPS) is made up of concerned individuals committed to promote respect for human life from conception to natural death; you can learn more about our work on this page.
The Society works to respect all people and work with gentleness, with compassion and carefully avoid confrontation. HLPS does works to raise awareness of three main areas in which the vulnerable are at risk of human rights abuses, including death.
Abortion
Life begins and Love never ends
Mother Teresa of Calcutta condemned abortion as the greatest destroyer of mankind in the world. She called on the world to pray for and to stand by the unborn child. To have peace in the womb leads to peace in the world.
The HLPS aims to support expectant mothers in need of assistance because of poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, destitution, helplessness, and misinformation. This can be achieved by helping to introduce distressed mothers to services that are available in this field.
Euthanasia and assisted-suicide
The voluntary euthanasia movement reflects that part of our society which cannot accept or understand illness, suffering or death. Euthanasia might seem to solve the problems of troubled individuals, in its own way, but would do nothing to prevent others from falling victim to similar problems. What is needed is better care for all, and to promote life at all stages.
Disability
Any Society which legislates for the taking of life of the sick rather than making every effort for their good care would be self-condemned for its inhumanity. This can be achieved by lobbying politicians, education in schools and using social media to present the truth about abortion and euthanasia. To promote life.
