The Human Life Protection Society is a non-denominational, non-party political incorporated association, established in Tasmania in 1972, to uphold and promote the right to life to all human beings from conception to natural death.

The Society believes every human being is a unique and precious individual requiring our respect and support. The HLPS strives to give a voice to the weak and defenceless in our community, particularly unborn babies, the disabled, frail, and terminally ill.

All life is about crossing bridges and climbing mountains
The Human Life Protection Society seeks to achieve these goals, of protecting the unborn advocating for life at all its stages.
These can be achieved by prayer, through community education, through lobbying of politicians, through community action and through the promotion of positive actions. All life is about crossing “bridges” and climbing “mountains” and we are here to walk that journey with them.
